My Approach

“coaching … the art of facilitating another’s learning,
development, well-being and performance.”

In transformative coaching, we focus on what drives your behavior – your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and assumptions - the raw materials of your leadership. Our goal is to increase capacity for growth and learning.

Together, we explore questions which increase self-inquiry, then apply such learning to areas of change. Throughout, we refer to business best practice and implementation. This method is co-active, where both coach and client explore new frameworks and perspectives.

I share my experience when it’s helpful. I’m sparing with advice, for the goal of coaching is to increase self-leadership. Besides, you know far more than you think you do.

In an evidence-based way, we’ll work within the following domains.

Your Foundations
What values do I live by ?
What’s my family legacy ?
What future do I want ?
What’s the issue right now ?

Development theory
Learning theory
Models of transition

Your Perspectives
What do I believe about the world ?
What do I believe about myself ?
How am I seen by others ?
Where can I grow ?

Assessments and feedback
Emotional Intelligence
Experiential learning

Your Leadership
When am I in flow ?
How do I respond under stress ?
How does my behavior impact my goals ?
What about my relationships ?
What do I want to change ?
